February Competition Winner !!!!!

Congratulations to Tracey Walsh of VanVeenendaal Rosnell Langley Architecture Limited in Parnell, Auckland. Tracey correctly answered the lucky draw question which was: What very nasty man with a little black moustache, who would yell quite a bit in German, did some really nasty horrible things during WW2 ? Of course the correct answer was Adolf Hitler. Well done Tracey your prize is on it's way !

Lighting Security Cages on the increase !!!

It's interesting how hard times make people grumpy and the end result is broken lights everywhere. We have had a run on these protective security cages designed for both indoor and outdoor lighting applications. The photo above is a galvinsed finished cage in an out door retail location - other applications include sports stadiums where lights are prone to damage from a variety of balls and flying athletes. Powder coated finish is another option in a wide variety of colours. Please check out the Security Camera Box pictured below right - a very popular product also.

Here we go again folks with another lucky draw for this months March newsletter. Simply answer the following question, email your reply to info@customlight.co.nz and be in to win a Vivi stainless steel two slice toaster. No need to be an expert on trivial pursuit for this one: Who is the United States latest President ? Thanks to all those who have entered the last few months draws - we have had a great response and hope to keep this little perk going for all of our customers and associates.

Vandel Proof Lights also on the increase...

In keeping with the security proof lights pictured on the left we have also seen an increase in the demand for these vandel proof lights. We design and build these for everything imaginable from the Prison environment right through to sporting applications where the potential for hard impact is very real, whether it be accidental or intentional. These tough steel light boxes are fitted with a super tough polycarbonate cover which is about as staunch as Godzilla with a tummy ache...

Floodlight Poles a budget answer for night advertising......

Another simple product for Customlight Engineering has been the floodlight pole - simple in construction and well priced this is a very cost effective way to illuminate existing signwriting and stand out in the crowd during the evenings. Although it's hard to see, there is a floodlight pole in this photo and it was a very effective method to mount a spotlight and gain the desired effect.....
